Winter Weddings
We have three very reasonably priced Winter Wedding packages for groups of 30 to 64 guests, with or without accommodation, which are available from October through to March.
The package includes the exclusive use of the hotel from 5:30pm until 8:00am the following morning, all thirty one bedrooms (accommodation 64 guests) on a bed and breakfast basis for the night and the use of a function room for the civil ceremony (which includes a dove release). Following the ceremony guests enjoy a Mulled Wine or Winter Pimms drinks reception in the cosy Drawing Room, followed by the wedding breakfast with wine (half a bottle per guest), and Sparkling Wine for the toast. Following the wedding breakfast, continue into your Evening Reception, following the candlelit corridor to the Library, and end the evening with bacon butties!
All of this, as an inclusive package for 60 guests, costs £12,500.
If you’re looking for a smaller wedding, but would still like to have your guests stay at Swinton Park, this package may be just for you.
This package is for up to 30 guests, and includes 15 bedrooms for the wedding night, on a bed & breakfast basis. Your ceremony would take place in the Panelled room, followed by a drinks reception of Winter Pimms or Mulled Wine in the Private Sitting Room and Lower Hall.
Your wedding breakfast, including half a bottle of wine per guest, and a sparkling wine toast would take place in the Library. Following your wedding breakfast, your guests would then move back through to the Panelled Room for a casino evening, with bacon butties for all!
The inclusive price for this package, for up to 30 guests is £7,500
If you’re looking for a smaller wedding, but don’t necessarily require accommodation for all your guests, then this package would be most suitable.
This package includes everything from the ‘Wedding for 30’ package to the left, however accommodation is only included for the Bride and Groom for one evening. Should any of your guests require accommodation, special rates can be provided for your guests, and they can book directly with the hotel.
The inclusive price for this package, for up to 30 guests, is £4,800

On your wedding day it is wonderful to feel relaxed and pampered, and with our Winter Glow Bride Package we can ensure you glow for your special day.
On the eve of your wedding treat yourself to a Lux Candle Massage. This uplifting treatment soothes your body by being massaged with drizzled warm shea butter and essential oils. Your tension will disappear and your skin will be silky smooth. Your hands or feet can then be perfected with an express manicure or express pedicure.
On your wedding day, our make-up therapist will visit your room and apply your chosen make up to perfect your bridal look.

Thank goodness the sun has now come out and we seem to have finally put winter behind us! The Parkland has burst into bloom with clouds of blossom and a colourful carpet of daffodils and bluebells around the trees.
The Walled Garden is also getting going, with bright tulips swaying in the breeze and home grown asparagus bursting forth. Asparagus is at its most delicious when eaten closest to home, so dishes featuring home-grown asparagus are now on all our menus, including the bar and lounge. The garden furniture is out and soon it will be time for afternoon teas on the lawn and evening drinks on the terrace at sunset. English summertime at it’s best.
