Non Exclusive Use
If you would like a smaller or less formal wedding reception, or do not require the use of all 31 bedrooms you may simply hire one of our function rooms for the ceremony and also for a drinks reception and meal afterwards. We are not able to take a booking for a non-exclusive wedding on a Saturday.
As you would be sharing the hotel with other guests and residents, bands, amplified music and fireworks are not permitted. However, alternative entertainment such as a comedian, magician or casino would be suitable.
The ceremony could be held in the Library, the Panelled Room or in the Lister Room. As the restaurant would still be open to the public, the Private Dining Room or Library are available for a private meal, depending on the choice of room for the ceremony. The Lower Hall and gardens are available for drinks receptions at no extra charge.
