By taking exclusive use of the hotel, the hotel would be reserved for the private use of your party providing you with a selection of rooms available for reception drinks, dining, photographs and dancing.
If you were to take a two night exclusive use package, the package includes accommodation and breakfast for both nights with all 31 double/twin bedrooms and Suites in the hotel. The first night of the package allows for an activity, such as a game of cricket, rounders or a treasure hunt in the grounds and also includes a buffet meal or BBQ to allow for a relaxed evening. The hotel would close on (say) the Friday evening after dinner through to the Sunday morning after breakfast.
If you would like to celebrate your wedding at Swinton Park on a Saturday, we would require you to take exclusive use of the hotel for two nights, either the Friday and Saturday night or the Saturday and Sunday night.
One day exclusive use weddings can be booked on any day of the week from Sunday to Friday. The charge includes accommodation and breakfast for one night for all 31 bedrooms and suites. Exclusivity would begin at 5.30pm on the day of the booking (with the bedrooms available from 3.00pm onwards) and would end the following morning after breakfast. We occasionally do have a Saturday night for a 1 night exclusive use available, however these do not come up often.
For both packages, additional charges on top of the exclusive use cost would apply for cots and the use of z-beds or sofa beds.

We’re looking forward to Mothering Sunday on 30th March and are delighted to report that Spring has arrived! The snowdrops are out, new season’s rhubarb is coming up and the bluebells won’t be far behind. We’ve a tempting selection of celebratory treats for Mothers to enjoy on the day itself, as well as gift vouchers for a wide range of activities, available from our online shop.
We are also hoping a late Easter will bring warm weather for our first Deerhouse Lunches and Dinners of 2014 – including a new Barbecue Cook & Lunch course, to polish up your grilling skills ready for summer.
