Exclusive Use

By taking exclusive use of the hotel, the hotel would be reserved exclusively for your use providing you with a selection of rooms available for reception drinks, dining, photographs and dancing.

If you were to take a two night exclusive use package, the package includes accommodation and breakfast for both nights with all 31 double/twin bedrooms and Suites in the hotel. The first night of the package allows for an activity, such as a game of cricket, rounders or a treasure hunt in the grounds, and also includes a buffet meal or BBQ to allow for a releaxed evening.  The hotel would close on (say) the Friday evening after dinner through to the Sunday morning after breakfast.

If you would like to celebrate your wedding at Swinton Park on a Saturday, we would require you to take exclusive use of the hotel for two nights, either the Friday and Saturday night or the Saturday and Sunday night. 

One day exclusive use weddings can be booked on any day of the week from Sunday to Friday. The charge includes accommodation and breakfast for one night for all 31 bedrooms and suites. Exclusivity would begin at 5.30pm on the day of the booking (with the bedrooms available from 3.00pm onwards) and would end the following morning after breakfast. We occasionally do have a Saturday night for a 1 night exclusive use available, however these do not come up often.

For both packages, additional charges on top of the excluisve use cost would apply for cots and the use of z-beds or sofa beds.

Thank goodness the sun has now come out and we seem to have finally put winter behind us! The Parkland has burst into bloom with clouds of blossom and a colourful carpet of daffodils and bluebells around the trees.

The Walled Garden is also getting going, with bright tulips swaying in the breeze and home grown asparagus bursting forth. Asparagus is at its most delicious when eaten closest to home, so dishes featuring home-grown asparagus are now on all our menus, including the bar and lounge. The garden furniture is out and soon it will be time for afternoon teas on the lawn and evening drinks on the terrace at sunset. English summertime at it’s best.
