Halloween at Swinton Park this year is taking a decidedly spooky turn.

Masham Young Farmers help run the event, and their witch has taken up residence at the Deer House in the Parkland at Swinton Park and is rearing mice and rats in preparation…. Children attending the Family Spooky Day will be able to meet the witch and hold her new pets, as well as follow the trail around the woodland finding tricks and treats along the way.

The Evening Ghost Walk will give everyone a run for their money, as the Young Farmers do their best to terrorise the neighbourhood, haunting the woods and lying in wait to pounce on unsuspecting visitors, who can retire to the candlelit deerhouse to recover with a glass of mulled wine at the end of the evening.

All proceeds raised in aid of Masham Young Farmers.
