Success at The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at Swinton Park

Swinton Park’s first Macmillan Coffee Morning was held on Friday 24th September as part of the “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” event.
Cookery demonstrations took place in the cookery school, along with sales of walled garden produce and flowers and a book signing by celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager. Tea, coffee and cake were served in the cookery school dining room, where therapists from the hotel’s spa offered guests hand massages.
The event raised just under £400 and was attended by over 150 people. “We were delighted by the turn out of local people to this event, and am sure that the morning did a great deal to help raise funds and awareness of such a worthy cause.” commented owner Felicity Cunliffe-Lister.
