The Sunday Masterclass Lunch a New Dining Experience at Swinton Park Cookery School

Sunday Lunch at Swinton Park is taking on a whole new look, with the launch of the NEW Sunday Masterclass Lunch.

The event will be held in the cookery school on Sundays throughout 2011, with the focus being on providing guests with an entertaining cookery demonstration, picking up some culinary tips and new skills and enjoying watching their lunch being cooked for them at the demonstration table.

The lunch will follow a similar format to the highly popular Chef’s Table dinners which run on selected weekend dates. “We wanted to expand our offering to those who enjoy a Sunday lunch and are looking for something a little out of the ordinary in a relaxed and informal environment.” commented Head Chef Robert Taylor, “Guests also love walking in the grounds here at the hotel, and this is something they can still make time for, either before or after their lunch.”

Notes for the Editor :

  1. The Cookery School at Swinton Park has been running to high acclaim since 2003
  2. Robert Taylor has been Head Chef at the school since 2009, and in 2008 was awarded UK Chef of the Year 2008 by the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
  3. Robert trained in the cookery school with the celebrity TV chef Rosemary Shrager (who runs her own residential course at the school) and prior to that he worked under Simon Crannage in the award winning restaurant kitchen in the hotel.
