Lunch is served every day in Samuel's restaurant, with the exception of Mondays. The menu below is served from Tuesday to Saturday. At Swinton Park we use as much local and seasonal produce as possible in planning the menus, and offer a style of cooking which embraces both modern and traditional methods, as appropriate to the dish and ingredients selected.
The four acre-walled garden and 20,000-acre estate at Swinton Park give us additional inspiration for our menus which vary with the changing seasons, with a plentiful supply of fruit, herbs, vegetables, game and edible wild ingredients. This is teamed with our loyal band of local suppliers and enables us to champion the very best of truly local food and to reduce our food miles wherever possible.
Our Head Chef, Simon Crannage, incorporates many traditional ingredients in his dishes giving his own charismatic interpretation to their pure and wholesome flavours. At every level a particular emphasis is placed on the abundance of fresh seasonal produce sourced both from the walled garden and surrounding estate.
