Swinton Park has now introduced greater flexibility with a unique ‘depackaged’ meeting and business event menu. Offering ‘Working Day’, ‘Dinner’, ‘Accommodation’ and ‘Activities’ options it enables organisers to pick and choose from various price points to suit their specific event and budget. Alternatively a completely bespoke event can be created in collaboration with Swinton Park’s expert events team.
Located just a short drive from the A1 Swinton Park is centrally positioned between Leeds, York and Newcastle. There are four international airports all within an hour’s drive plus there is a 2.5 hours direct train service from London Kings Cross and Edinburgh Waverley stations.
Swinton’s culinary offering is unrivalled and is managed by Executive Chef of Samuel’s restaurant. Simon is also able to devise bespoke dinner and banqueting menus to suit any occasion – his signature dishes drawing heavily on the venison and game sourced from the Swinton Estate and produce from the hotel’s four acre walled garden. The private dining room offers seclusion for more intimate groups, whilst for groups wanting to be entertained there is the Chef’s Table demonstration dining experience served at the Cookery School Demonstration Table – and for something really out of this world a Deerhouse Dinner is truly unique.
For team building, the Cookery School (run by Chef Director Stephen Bulmer – previously at the helm of the cookery school at the Manoir Quat’ Saisons) offers a range of “Ready Steady Cook” styled challenges and courses. Within the surrounding parkland and 20,000 acre Swinton Estate there is also no shortage of outdoor adventure such as falconry, golf, fishing, driven bird and clay pigeon shooting along with more unusual events such as orienteering, ‘farm olympics’, bicycle polo and foraging.
Swinton Park offers five function rooms of various sizes, which cater for a wide range of events, from conferences, board meetings and dinners to Christmas parties and corporate away days. All rooms have retained the character and charm of the traditional building but offer all that a modern meeting would need including projectors, complimentary WIFI and sound systems. For 80–120 Guests…. THE LIBRARY is Swinton Park’s largest event space, located on the ground floor of the hotel with direct access to the garden and marquee site through French windows. It has a capacity of 120 standing and 80 seated.
For 40-65 Guests… THE PANELLED ROOM suits smaller, presentations and meetings, accommodates up to 65 standing and 40 seated and is situated on the first floor with magnificent views of Swinton Park’s Gatehouse.
For 20-45 Guests ….THE STABLES ROOM located above the cookery school with views over the gatehouse, the Stables Room offers a large open space set apart from the main hotel perfect for groups who have been attending a cookery school course.
For 10-16 Guests…. THE BOYNTON ROOM is ideal for intimate relaxed high-level management meetings or break out sessions. Accommodates up to 10 seated and 16 standing and features comfortable soft seating and has extensive views over the deer park.
For up to 10 Guests – THE LISTER ROOM is perfect for senior management and formal board meetings, seating up to 10 people around the Lister Room table. It offers a truly intimate meeting experience in a beautiful room full of history and character.
A ‘Working day’ at Swinton Park starts from £30 per person, team-building activities start from £25 per person and dinner options from £28 per person. Accommodation rates start from £110 per room per night based on single occupancy (please note reduced accommodation room rates are available to corporate bookings only). Swinton Park is also available for exclusive hire from £8895 per night – 31 delegates (Off peak rates apply subject to availability).
For Christmas 2013 Swinton Park is offering a selection of festive experiences for businesses including:
Christmas Lunch: Available from 2nd – 19th December in Samuel’s restaurant or private dining room. Lunch includes a three-course meal including coffee and petit fours, £29.95 per person.
Festive Afternoon Tea: Available from 2nd – 19th December and includes full afternoon tea, mince pies, Christmas cake and mulled wine, £19 per person.
Swinton Park Christmas Party Nights: On the 18th & 19th December Swinton Park will host two special Christmas Party nights which includes a pre-dinner drinks, a three course meal at Samuel’s restaurant and dancing until 1am and costs £45 per person. Accommodation rates for the Swinton Park Christmas Party Nights start from £120 for single occupancy and £140 for double occupancy.
