As dusk falls, join us for a relaxing aperitif while Stephen prepares supper – tasting all the better for being outdoors with candlelight, a starlit sky and a blazing fire. What better way to relax and soak up the atmosphere of a dreamy English summer’s evening?
£35 per person (includes a glass of Pimms or soft drink on arrival)
Booking essential – by Thursday evening of the preceding week.
Please Note: Children under 12 are not permitted to dine at the Deerhouse, but are welcome at lunchtime.
Guests will all be seated together at a single, large table. Warm clothing and footwear highly recommended, as the evening turns cool after sunset. This is a rustic experience, with uneven ground surrounding the Deerhouse Рplease take care on arrival and departure. In the event of very bad weather the event will be cancelled.
There is a definite crispness in¬†the air now,¬†heralding the arrival¬†of game, wild¬†mushrooms and other Autumnal treats. While the weather is still perfect for¬†walking, cycling and riding¬†it’s also a great time to enjoy¬†replenishing Spa treats and tempting gourmet indulgences, such as our Estate Lunch Menu – currently featuring grouse – or¬†our inspiring range of seasonal¬†cookery courses.
