Directions from the A1

Please note that the A1(M) has been extensively upgraded and the Northbound B6267 junction off the A1 has been permanently CLOSED. There are many navigation systems which have not yet been updated to reflect this, which can add half an hour to your journey if travelling from the South. This can be avoided if you follow the directions given below :

Travelling from the South

• Leave A1(M) at Junction 50
• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, onto the A6055, signposted Masham
• Follow the A6055 for 3.3 miles
• At the roundabout, take the 1^st exit, onto the B6267 to Masham
• Follow the B6267 for 6.8 miles
• At the end of the road, turn right to the join the A6108
• Follow the A6108 for 0.7 miles, over the bridge
• As the road bends, turn left onto Silver Street, continue along the road and take a sharp right hand bend to pass the market square
• Continue along the road and take a sharp left hand bend, passing a newsagents on your left
• Follow the road and turn right onto Swinton Terrace
• Continue along Swinton Road for 0.8 miles, passing the golf course on your right
• Enter Swinton Park through the main gates, directly in front of the junction

Travelling from the North

• Leave A1(M) at Junction 51
• At the roundabout, take the 3^rd exit, onto the A6055, cross under the A1(M)
• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, onto the A6055
• Follow the A6055 for 0.7 miles
• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, onto the A684, Bedale Road
• At the road end, turn Left to onto the A684
• Follow the A684 for 1.2 miles, enter Bedale
• At the end of the road, turn left, then immediately turn right onto the B6268, Masham Road
• Follow the B6268 for 4.8 miles
• At the end of the road, turn right onto the B6267
• Follow the B6267 for 0.6 miles
• At the end of the road, turn right to the join the A6108
• Follow the A6108 for 0.7 miles, over the bridge
