Arrive at Swinton Park on 30th December, where the warmest welcome awaits you, your family and friends. Settle in with a traditional Yorkshire cream tea served in front of a roaring log fire in the elegant drawing room and snug sitting room. The evening begins with canapés at your leisure to the sound of our resident pianist, followed by dinner in Samuel's Restaurant from an imaginative menu offering a selection of dishes prepared with the finest local ingredients. The 31st December offers a selection of activities around Swinton Park during the day to include: clay pigeon shooting, a cookery demonstration by our award winning chef Simon Crannage as well as a falconry display, or choose from a selection of board games and snooker available in the Billiard Room. The black tie party begins in the evening with a Champagne reception whilst watching a firework display, followed by a five course gourmet dinner in Samuels Restaurant, offering the finest local produce, accompanied by fine wines and liqueurs. After dinner our band, Mirage, and Steve Chattertons Disco will see you into the New Year and on to the small hours. New Year's Day is a day to relax. A late breakfast will be served until 11.30am or you can join a leisurely brunch served until 2pm. On the 1st January, the afternoon is spent at your leisure; perhaps a day at races, the dales treasure hunt, sale shopping in Leeds, Harrogate or York or simply joining David our Head Porter for a walk to Masham and back. For those feeling a little under the weather, your hosts will have a range of tonics and potions to help! Afternoon Tea is provided and then later that evening, our chefs will present a gala buffet, featuring the finest local produce. On the morning of the 2nd a late leisurely breakfast is served before saying our goodbyes. Tariff: All rates given are per room, for a three night stay (arriving 30th December and departing 2nd January).
All rates include dinner, overnight accommodation and breakfast for three nights as well as cream tea and canapés on the 30th and afternoon tea on the 1st. Clay Pigeon shooting, falconry and cookery demonstration, fireworks and vintage champagne, nibbles and fine wines on New Year’s Eve and all entertainment are also included.
