Gourmet Weekends
This is an event where we thought we would bring together an extravaganza of wine and fine cuisine, with tastings and demonstrations and even a gourmet treasure hunt.
The two and one day weekend events include five course gourmet dinner, accommodation and breakfast, and wine at dinner.
The package price per room for two guests, including wine tastings and
demonstrations in the cookery school is:–
For the two night package: £600 for a Knights, Barons or Earls room £650 for a Dukes room or £700 for a suite For a one night package: £300 for a Knights, Barons or Earls room £325 for a Dukes room or £350 for a suite.
Dates for the Gourmet Weekends are as follows :
- 9th January 2010 (1 night Saturday break)
- 29th/30th January 2010 (2 night Saturday break)
- 26/27th February 2010 (2 night break)
- 8/9th October
- 26/27th November
The format for a two night Gourmet Weekend is usually :
Friday
Check in from 3.00pm onwards
Early evening Wine Tasting
Pre-Dinner Drinks followed by a Gourmet Dinner
Saturday
Morning Cookery Demonstration and Tasting with local food producer
Lunch and free time - ideal for spa treatments, a walk in the grounds,
or time for the Gourmet Treasure Hunt in Masham
Landrover tour of the Deer Park and Deer Herd
Afternoon Cookery Demonstration, Afternoon Tea and Wine Tasting
Pre-Dinner Drinks followed by a Gourmet Dinner
The format for a one night Gourmet Weekend is usually :
Pre-Check in - Gourmet Treasure Hunt in Masham
Check-In from 3.00pm onwards, with Afternoon Tea on arrival
Early Evening Cookery Demonstration and Wine Tasting
Pre Dinner Drinks and Gourmet Dinner
Breakfast and check-out the following morning
