2008 Day courses
The cost per guest on a Rosemary Shrager day course is £175 per
person, and £140 for a course with Simon Crannage (these include
the Farm to Feast and Garden Food courses). This includes a half day course,
a three course lunch and wine with the meal. Accommodation charges are
not included in the day course rate, although rooms are usually available
at the hotel.
The Family Food courses cost £100 and the Children's Cookery courses cost £80. These courses include a morning's demonstration and hands on cooking followed by lunch in the demonstration kitchen. Bookers for both of these courses also receive a voucher for a 20% discount off a spa treatment to be taken on the day of the course or at a later mid week date within a month of the date of the course.
Full payment is required in advance to confirm a booking.
2008 Day courses with Accommodation
For guests attending a course with Simon Crannage, there are two inclusive accommodation packages available :
One night's accommodation, dinner and breakfast with day course and lunch in the cookery school : £285 (single occupancy). Non-cooking partners are welcome on this package, for an additional charge of £65 (for dinner, bed and breakfast in the hotel) or £85 (which also includes lunch in the cookery school). If two guests sharing a room are both attending a course with Simon Crannage, then the one night package price is £490 for the room (full board and including the course charge and lunch in the cookery school)
Two night's accommodation, dinner and breakfast for one on both nights with day course and lunch for one in the cookery school : £450 (single occupancy). Non-cooking partners are welcome on this package, for an additional charge of £130 (for dinner, bed and breakfast in the hotel) or £150 (which also includes lunch in the cookery school). If two guests sharing a room are both attending a course with Simon Crannage, then the two night package price is £700 for the room (full board and including the course charge and lunch in the cookery school).
As an introductory offer for all Swinton Park courses run by Simon Crannage that are booked for the 2008 there is a 10% discount available for bookings of two or more courses (either for two or more guests attending the same course or for one guest to attend two or more separate courses).

2008 Residential courses
The all inclusive charge for the two day Rosemary Shrager residential course, for an individual cooking guest either on a single occupancy basis or sharing a room with a non-cooking partner is £660 per person.The charges include bed and breakfast, all meals (dinner on the first night, lunch and dinner on the second day and lunch on the third day) and drinks with meals, and the cookery course (consisting of two late afternoon sessions and two morning sessions).
If two guests on a course share a room, the course charge is reduced to £560 per guest.
A non-refundable 50% deposit needs to be paid to confirm a booking, the balance payable on departure. In the event of cancellation no later than 16 weeks prior to the start of the course, the deposit will be repaid. The balance of the course charge will be payable if a course is cancelled later than 12 weeks prior to the course start date. We strongly recommend insurance cover in the event of cancellation, please contact us if you would like further details of policies available.
Non residents are welcome to attend the residential courses, at a reduced rate of £448 for a two day course.
