This is an event where we bring together an extravaganza of wine and fine cuisine, with afternoon tea, wine tastings and cookery demonstrations and even a gourmet treasure hunt.

The package price per room for two guests including dinner, bed and breakfast, afternoon tea, wine tasting and demonstration in the cookery school for a one night break is:

£395 for a Knights, Barons or Earls Room

£435 for a Dukes Room

£465 for a Suite

The two night package price for a two night stay for two guests is:-

£725 for a Knights, Barons or Earls room
£775 for a Dukes room
£825 for a Suite

The format for a two night Gourmet Weekend is usually :

Friday
Check in from 3.00pm onwards
Afternoon Tea
Early evening Wine Tasting
Pre-Dinner Drinks followed by Dinner in Samuel’s Restaurant

Saturday
Morning Cookery Demonstration and Tasting with local food producer
Lunch and free time – ideal for spa treatments, a walk in the grounds, or time for the Gourmet Treasure Hunt in Masham
Afternoon Cookery Demonstration, Afternoon Tea and Wine Tasting
Pre-Dinner Drinks followed by a Gourmet Dinner

Sunday (a.m.)
Landrover tour of the Deer Park and Deer Herd

Please note that unless otherwise stated, all rates given for these themed packages apply to standard rooms and are based on double occupancy, in some cases a two night stay is required over a weekend. Christmas, New Year and Valentines are also excluded.

The Kitchen Gossip

It’s lovely to see new season’s ingredients coming in, heralding the delights of the year to come. As well as Yorkshire rhubarb, the wild garlic is now in season and it wont be too long before new season’s lamb is available. 2014 has got off to a flying start with busy classes right across the schedule. Our Thursday Cookery Club Mornings and Supper Evenings have been very well received and our Barbecue Cook and Lunch courses get going over the Easter weekend.
