If you haven’t cooked much before, this course will teach you the basic culinary techniques that will enable you to prepare a range of simple, delicious dishes and seasonal variations.

Curry and Flat Bread
Cooking a piece of Fish
Roast Chicken and Vegetables
Seasonal Fruit Crumble
Techniques included are:
- Knife skills
- Vegetable preparation
- Cooking with eggs
- How to roast
- Cooking with mince
- Basic fish preparation and cookery
- Use of spices and herbs
- Key food hygiene and safe storage guidelines
