Discover new recipes and master new skills at our regular Thursday ‘Cookery Club’ mornings. Join Michelin-trained chef Steve Bulmer for an hour of cooking and foodie chat, at Swinton Park Cookery School.

Learn the techniques to create a classic dish,
which you’ll then enjoy for lunch.

Cookery Club mornings will run approximately two Thursdays each month, during school term time – why not book to come with a friend and make it a regular event?

The perfect English summer menu, learning fish skills and sauce skills:
Poached Salmon with Asparagus, Lemon Sabayon

The Perfect Steak, Chips & Bearnaise Sauce

Understanding Thai spices and flavour balancing:
Authentic Thai Curry with Fragrant Rice

9th October
The secrets of making great pasta:
Ravioli of Butternut Squash, Mustard Fruits & Sage Butter

6th November
Preparation and cooking of a Game Bird: 
Roast Partridge with all the classic garnishes – Braised red cabbage, game chips, roast parsnips, celeriac purée, port jus


Course Timings

The class begins at 11am, cooking until around 12 noon, when you’ll then sit down to enjoy your dish for lunch.

£35 per person – or 5% discount when you book a series of 4*
