The Deerhouse seats 50 (seated in two bays on two tables of 30 and 20) or 30 with a separate bay for a drinks reception.
You can choose between a picnic or an evening barbeque at the Deerhouse and the prices are given below for the venue hire fee for each. Please see our menus page for details of the picnic and barbecue choice available.

Includes the hire of the venue, waiting staff to set up and serve the meal and complimentary transport for your guests.

Includes the hire of the venue, waiting staff and a chef to set up, cook and serve the meal and complimentary transport for your guests. The evening also includes braziers, tapers and candles, a staffed bar and MP3 Player or CD Player (you are welcome to bring your own choice of music with you).

Thank goodness the sun has now come out and we seem to have finally put winter behind us! The Parkland has burst into bloom with clouds of blossom and a colourful carpet of daffodils and bluebells around the trees.
The Walled Garden is also getting going, with bright tulips swaying in the breeze and home grown asparagus bursting forth. Asparagus is at its most delicious when eaten closest to home, so dishes featuring home-grown asparagus are now on all our menus, including the bar and lounge. The garden furniture is out and soon it will be time for afternoon teas on the lawn and evening drinks on the terrace at sunset. English summertime at it’s best.
