A Bothy Hut experience is an opportunity to make the journey part of the adventure, either with a guided walk or an orienteering exercise. On arrival there is the added element of surprise with the table laid with fine linen and fire blazing in the hearth. There are three Bothy Huts on the Swinton Estate, each enjoying fabulous views across the Dales in wonderfully remote locations.
The Bothy Huts vary in size, but can seat up to 12 comfortably (for a picnic).The prices below are for the hire of a Bothy Hut and are for guidance only as costs may vary depending on your particular requirements. Please note that for groups larger than 8 there may be an additional transport charge for the less accessible Bothy Huts.
Due to their remote location, we are only able to serve picnics at the Bothy Huts and not barbecues. Please go to the picnic menu page for details of the picnic selection.
