Mini-Chefs: 6 – 9 yrs

Maggie Harvey Half Day course

Aimed at budding young chefs who can enjoy lots of hands on experience and master the basic skills. A half day afternoon session (2pm – 5pm), which Includes a goody bag to take home. Please see our cookery course section for menu details.

Basics for Beginners – 10-14 yrs

28th October 2014 

Designed to build confidence in the kitchen, learning techniques children can try at home including bread making and basic knife skills. Morning or afternoon sessions. Children will eat what they cook on the course. Please see our cookery course section for menu details.

Morning Class: 10am – 1.30pm
Afternoon Class: 3pm – 6.30pm

Confident Cook – 10-14 yrs

For children who have been on a Basics for Beginners course before, or who have lots of experience in the kitchen and are able to cook with confidence, managing simple tasks unsupervised. This course will inspire a young chef to experiment with more styles and themes of cooking, covering some more complicated techniques. Morning or afternoon sessions. Cookery Life Skills for Teenagers

Maggie Harvey Full Day Course

Basic Skills -  28th August, 30th October 2014
Intermediate -  29th August, 31st October 2014

Basic Skills will teach all the basic essentials that are key life skills such as grilling and frying a piece of meat or fish and cooking a roast dinner – ideal for when cooking away from home for the first time at college or university.

Intermediate – will expand the repertoire of more experienced cooks as Tamsin leads them through the preparation of a dinner party menu. Please see our cookery course section for menu details.
