 Guest Service Agent 

This position would suite a competitive and target driven individual who has a passion for making sales and delivering exceptional guest service. Working closely with the hotel’s main reception team and reporting in to the Front of House Manager, you would be focused on delivering the very best in customer service, being proactive in making the guests that stay with us, have a truly excellent experience, anticipating needs and making positive suggestions on how their stay on the Swinton Estate can be maximised.

The successful applicant for this role will ensure that they act with integrity at all times by knowing the hotel and the wider Estate and how they can personally drive the business forward in a passionate and progressive manner, deliver excellence by demonstrating a service attitude that exceeds expectations, have the ambition to continuously improve and be able to show that they care by consistently putting their colleagues and guests first.

We are looking for someone who can maintain a positive and calm outlook, can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, carry out instructions, be able to pay close attention to detail and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. Experience within a customer facing role or one where sales has been a primary element would be preferable but not essential as full training is provided.

Spa Therapist

We are looking for dedicated and professional individuals to join our established and growing Spa here at Swinton Park, you will be required to perform professional massage therapy, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing (aesthetic services) and remain current with the industry. If you have a positive and professional outlook, we would love to hear from you. Must perform in a safe and professional manner to clients and provide uncompromised attention to guest/member service.

Receptionist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Receptionist to join our team at Swinton Park. Marketing Manager

We are looking for a creative marketing manager to lead our marketing and PR for Swinton Park and Swinton Bivouac. You must be an experienced marketing professional and able to demonstrate successful marketing campaigns both on and offline. Experience of SEO, website development, social media, and PR are required, along with being able to manage a budget and develop a team. If you are a dynamic marketing manager looking for a new challenge then we want to hear from you!

Sales and Marketing Manager

As Sales and Marketing Manager you will be required to develop sales strategies in all market segments including hotel accommodation, restaurant, spa, cookery school, weddings and events, both for the luxury hotel and glamping site.

You will oversee the activities of the Sales & Marketing Department ensuring the team are working towards specific objectives and targets and provide support as required.

  • To manage and lead the sales and marketing team which includes reservations, events and marketing including appraisals and setting objectives.
  • Develop and implement key sales strategies ensuring monthly revenue is achieved in each area and in-line with the sales and marketing budget.
  • To be a sales leader throughout the hotel and wider Estate.
  • To develop online and offline marketing campaigns including social media, PPC, SEO and tracking campaign success.
  • To develop and support the PR strategy, working closely with the marketing team.
  • Brand management and brand development.
  • Ownership and development of hotel websites.

Room Attendant (PT)

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our friendly housekeeping team. The successful candidate must have exceptional standards with meticulous attention to detail and will work as part of a dedicated team ensuring the cleanliness of all areas of the hotel and guest bedrooms.  Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Food & Beverage Assistant (PT)

We are looking for exceptional people to join our Food & Beverage team, even if you have little or no experience, as long as you are ambitious, enthusiastic and have a positive can do attitude, can communicate effectively, carry out instructions and be able to pay close attention to detail to provide excellent customer service then we would love to hear from you. We believe that our people are at the heart of everything we do and we have various positions available within the catering operation including bar & restaurant team members.

Maintenance Assistant (PT)

We are recruiting an experienced multi skilled Maintenance assistant to join our team, you must have good electrical, plumbing & carpentry experience, Experience working within a hotel or similar accommodation would be an advantage.

  • Offering assistance to customers with minor problems, e.g. lighting fires, water heaters etc.
  • Ensuring the Health and Safety of all guests on park.
  • Responding to maintenance issues/repairs in a timely manner.
  • Checking routinely unoccupied Holiday Homes to ensure they are maintained,
  • Carrying out Holiday Home repairs within the allocated time and to the highest of standard

Front of House Porter (PT)

Our front of house porters play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests are welcomed and assisted in every way, this role is perfect for someone with a comprehensive local knowledge and who can interact well with all types of people. The primary responsibility is to anticipate the needs of our guests, greet and assist guests to bedrooms and public areas and assist with luggage, directions or other requests. 

This position is on a casual basis with hours to suit the demands of the business with some evening and weekend work.
