The charming 9 hole Masham Golf course is adjacent to the hotel grounds. Hotel guests are able to play at all times, subject to any club tournaments.

£20 midweek/£25 weekend per player for the full 18 holes, and the usual dress codes apply : one golf bag per player, and a maximum of four players per tee.

Players need to purchase tickets for their green fees at the hotel reception, and sign in at the clubhouse, displaying their ticket on their bags whilst playing.

Other local 18 hole courses include Bedale, Romanby, Ripon and Catterick. Please ask reception to arrange a tee time for you.

If you would like to spend a little time improving your skills and technique, we can book you a lesson with our PGA Euro-Pro Tournament Professional, James Sibbles, allowing you to develop your swing, short play, or any aspect of your game you need to focus on.

Please note that due to James' commitments on the PGA tour his lessons need to be booked in advance.

Golf tuition costs are :

Nine hole playing lesson : £90
1 hour adult lesson : £72
1 hour junior lesson : £48

The maximum number in a class is three. Please note that a cancellation fee applies to bookings cancelled within 5 days of a booked lesson.
