This is an event where we bring together an extravaganza of wine and fine cuisine, combining the skills of our award winning restaurant kitchen and cookery school. The event includes wine tastings, talks from local food and drink producers and cookery demonstrations from our talented chefs. The two day weekend events includes accommodation and breakfast, a Signature Tasting Menu at dinner and a flight of wines to complement dinner.
On arrival you will enjoy a full afternoon tea, allowing time to unwind and relax after the journey in the cosy and welcoming Sitting Room or sumptuous Drawing Room. The evenings start with a wine tasting, with four wines to taste from a chosen theme, and then a pre-dinner glass of bubbly. Dinner is then served in Samuel’s restaurant, featuring Simon Crannage’s seven course Signature Tasting Menu, with a complementary wine flight.
The Saturday schedule of tastings and demonstrations in the cookery school allows enough time for a full afternoon tea. On the morning of departure, guests are able to join the Estate Ranger for a Landrover tour to see the fallow deer herd in the deer park. A Foodie Gift is also given to all departing guests to take home.
One night Gourmet Weekends include afternoon tea, a cookery demonstration, wine tasting, pre-dinner drinks and dinner on the Signature Tasting Menu.

Late spring is the most beautiful time of year at Swinton Park, with the rhododendrons and azaleas in glorious, full bloom in the parkland and the first young vegetables coming up in our Walled Garden. Enjoy these to full advantage at our Garden Lunches and Garden Design Days, or our Estate Produce Lunches – starting a Celebration of Asparagus from 13th May. Our Deerhouse Lunches and Dinners are also running throughout the summer, including a new Barbecue Cook & Lunch course to polish up your grilling skills.
